Cameron Writt – Data Analyst, Storyteller, and Former U.S. Marine

About

Cameron Writt

A two-time University of Arkansas graduate with bachelor’s degrees in sociology and criminal justice, Cameron Writt blends sharp analytic insight with the stage presence of a seasoned performer. Since 2020 he has served as a data analyst for WCI in Bentonville, Arkansas, where he transforms millions of rows of national sales data into clear, actionable intelligence. Whether fine-tuning spreadsheets in the office or flying cross-country to audit product launches, Mr. Writt ensures executives see not just numbers, but narratives that drive revenue.Mr. Writt’s talent for turning raw information into compelling stories first emerged behind a microphone. As a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, he delivered original 30-minute sets at the San Francisco Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival and was invited to the legendary Belly Room at The Comedy Store. Beyond writing jokes, he ran every operational detail of his act—booking venues, coordinating travel, and maintaining a multimedia website—skills that now underpin his project-management rigor in the corporate arena. Before comedy and analytics, Mr. Writt spent more than a decade in the United States Marine Corps, including four years on active duty as a supply officer. He oversaw multimillion-dollar inventories, once commanding a $120 million account for vehicles and gear during a three-week exercise in South Korea, and led logistics teams that thrived under tight timelines.Outside the office, Cameron Writt stays mentally and physically sharp through resistance training, distance running, and daily journaling. Though his stand-up career is now a passion project rather than a profession, he continues to write new material—proof that, for him, data and comedy are simply two ways to understand people and tell their stories.
